Fun dinner at State Bird Provisions! We tried almo Fun dinner at State Bird Provisions! We tried almost one of everything offered that day. Highlights for me (other than the alcohol and desserts) were the burrata garlic bread, duck liver mousse, trout dip, oysters, and egg tofu with chili. Disappointments were the Hokkaido scallops with nori crisps (sounded way better than it was. Wouldn’t even pay 1/5 of the price for it lol), tomatoes (not terrible, but def had better), dumplings (looked great, but was mush), and wedge salad (no thanks, don’t even get me started on my feelings re wedge salads). Overall it was a great night out! ❤️
Was in Chicago for work for a few nights and had a Was in Chicago for work for a few nights and had an amazing stay at the Langham hotel. Got in a lot of steps from getting lost and walking around in circles. Countless meetings, meeting people, happy hours, and late night work. More importantly, the weather was perfect!! First time there when it wasn’t ever below freezing. Not enough time to check out much of Chicago, but the little I did see was beautiful, minus almost being attacked by a couple homeless people and that dead rat on the sidewalk on the way to the office from the hotel. Only took me 5-6 years since my first visit to see the bean!

How we met and how we stuck together- so damn thankful for these 2- supporting our bad decisions and best decisions. We live separate lives, but always make time for each other. ❤️ Cheers from #vegas
Hakashi Sushi Bar & Grill has opened in Walnut Cre Hakashi Sushi Bar & Grill has opened in Walnut Creek! We had the pleasure of checking them out around their soft opening, and tried some bites on the house, in addition to ordering our usuals. Really good- one of the better Japanese restaurants in this area. Was surprised I was ready to have sushi/Japanese food again after coming back from Japan, but I can’t say no to a non traditional roll and a yummy cocktail!. . . . #eastbayeats #hakashi

Experiencing new things in a new country ❤️ W Experiencing new things in a new country ❤️ We missed an amazing view of Mt. Fuji by Lake Saiko due to the fog, but we enjoyed our quick tour of the village here. 15 mins of dress up was an amazing new experience!
