I Tried Zamat’s Butterfly Cervical Pillow and Here’s How it Went!
Finding the perfect pillow isn’t an easy task as each person’s pillow needs are different. Airing Out the Butterfly Pillow
The pillow was really easy to take out of its packaging. The shape quickly appeared, and it was usable rather quickly! There was a small scent to it, but it was just that typical memory foam scent, and surprisingly, it didn’t last long at all. It was usable that same evening!
They Believe in Their Product
There is a 10 year warranty on this pillow, and you can take advantage of their 100-night free trial. If you’re not happy with the pillow, you can contact them if your purchase was made over 30 days but less than 100 days.
Benefits/Claims
They’ve concluded that this butterfly pillow shape is the best fit for the majority of customers. It seems very versatile as well since the height and such can be adjusted by taking out part of the memory foam. The varying aspects of the pillow makes it great for all sorts of sleepers – back, side, tummy, etc.
Good Pillow for Piercings?
Some side sleepers with piercings say that it’s helpful to sleep on a travel pillow or special pillow with a hole or indentation in the center so that the earrings don’t touch the pillow part. I didn’t try this when my piercings were healing, but this butterfly pillow has a small hole in the center, which is very evident without the pillowcase. It’s rather a small spot so those that move their heads a lot might not benefit just based on whether if this pillow is good for piercings. The pillow itself feels great though!
My First Night with Zamat’s Butterfly Cervical Pillow
I’m not sure if I was just super tired (didn’t really feel that tired to be honest), but I dozed off so fast after I put my head on this pillow. The memory foam and pillow & pillowcase were really soft, yet a good bit of firmness as well. It felt great as I was sleeping on my back, but I am normally a side sleeper that turns quite a bit through the night such that I’d sleep on my sides, back, and tummy.
Pillowcase Not so Great for Piercings
I tried side sleeping on the pillow, but my earrings would semi get caught on the pillowcase. Perhaps I’d need to put a regular pillowcase over the specialized pillowcase, but I’m too lazy to try that at the moment. Not much of an issue if your piercings are healed in comparison to healing piercings though.
Trial and Error
Back sleeping was great with its default settings as my shoulders and head felt very supported and comfortable. I tried side sleeping and couldn’t get it to feel as great, so I’d probably need to play around with the memory foam inside and try different angles/positions to make it work. It is a comfy pillow though.
Worth It?
It is a bit pricey for a pillow, but with the 10 year warranty and how they stand behind their product, I’d say it’s a good price to pay for better and healthier sleep. I’ll be using this pillow, but perhaps not solely as I like to switch around various pillows for my needs, but this butterfly cervical pillowing is staying on my bed.
Butterfly BUTTON Shaped Cervical Pillow
Yeah, I noticed that hard button thingy on the pillow and on the pillowcase as well. I was thinking wow, this would be horrible if I felt that while sleeping. Surprisingly, I didn’t feel it. Perhaps the design is that way, but I didn’t feel anything from that button on the pillow.
