Another non-dairy dessert item from Trader Joe’s – their oat ice cream sandwiches. Wait, no… ice cream isn’t mentioned… they call it their non-dairy frozen dessert sandwiches.

Standard box, 6 dessert sandwiches in one box. A serving is 2 dessert sandwiches, 3 servings in each container. Common allergens include soy, wheat, and coconot.
Taste and Texture
They are initially rather sticky! Perhaps the first one I grabbed was messier than the others, but it was not a great first impression. The first bite was rather unflavorful. I didn’t enjoy it; however, after the 3rd bite, I got used to it and it was then acceptable. The flavor was rather bland, not much vanilla until later on. Texture does remind me of the ice cream sandwiches I’ve had when I was younger.
Worth It?
I don’t have much to say about these unfortunately. If you enjoy non-dairy ice cream and ice cream sandwiches, then these may be for you. Personally, I’d skip them next time.
