Surprise Plush in Boba Experience!
Every time I try to cut back on boba, something happens that sucks me back into spending more and more on boba. It doesn’t help that my kids love boba as well, and buying 4 boba drinks at a time on many occasions really add up. One spot that we frequent is Bober Tea in Walnut Creek. There are various locations, but Walnut Creek is the one we go to.
Bober Surprise Plush Cups
Other than small or large size drinks, Bober has other stuff, such as a bear shaped cup and a champagne bottle cup thingy. I didn’t really feel like getting those, but when an option of “surprise plush cup” came up, I was super curious and decided to get that for an additional $5.90.
Cup Design
Somehow I thought it would be a regular boba and a surprise plush will come on the side, but there is an actual compartment on the cup where the plush is hidden. Not too fond of the Santa print, but hey, I get a drink and a mystery!
Be Careful Stabbing the Boba Drink!
The top of the surprise plush cup is an actual cup connected to a subsection below that fits the plush. They are stuck together and it isn’t separately removable in a clean way. If you stab the drink too hard, there is a chance you’ll stab through the section and drink will end up on the plush.
Types of Plush
I’m actually not too sure how many types of plush they have, but I initially thought there was a character theme since a lot of what was displayed at the store were somewhat Hello Kitty-like, and one of the ones we opened (not cleanly at all, hence not showing that opening process here) was somewhat Hello Kitty resemblance.
Plush Quality
Is this a rip off of My Little Pony or something? The quality of the plush isn’t that great, but something amazing wasn’t expected as well. There were some glue chunks around the neon tail. Not something I would want to show off on my bag or put my keys on or anything unfortunately.
Worth It?
It’s really fun! Just don’t expect something amazing here LOL. I would get another one, though I shouldn’t because I have no use for these. Bober is great though. Tasty drinks and amazing mochi donuts when they have those!
