We’ve heard how popular and delicious food at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon is, and there’s various locations, and the first we try is in Vegas! The fam went here for dinner one night, and it was quite the adventure finding the restaurant. It’s definitely easier if you’re staying directly at the Venetian since you’re allowed up to the 10th floor via the various guest elevators. We weren’t staying at the Venetian so we had to find a separate elevator, sort of by the parking area. We definitely walked a long time finding it!
Popular Spot
It wasn’t even prime dinner time, and the place was rather packed. Reservations at Bouchon are definitely a must! They do have brunch during the later parts of the week and the weekend; otherwise, they’re just opened for dinner. We were here on a Tuesday, so no brunch for us so we got a dinner reservation a couple weeks beforehand.
Their menus are folded, brown lunch bag style paper. Pretty neat. They recommend us scanning the QR code to look at the menus online, including the drink menus.
Individual and Family Style
We did family style, though more of the plates seem to be for individual. We just got more utensils so we can share to try a bit of everything. It worked out quite well!
Food thoughts
We all expected everything to taste better, but we did have a good dinner experience at Bouchon in Vegas! Considering Vegas and French bistro pricing, the prices here aren’t too bad for what it is.
Overall thoughts
This dinner was better than our dinner at Allegro the night before, but we preferred the rib eye beef at Allegro, but that’s cause it’s a different cut. Nice setting, good vibes. We enjoyed it, though we did expect a bit better. Perhaps our expectations are too high?
Going for Brunch
I’ll be back to try their brunch fairly soon, so I’ll report those findings/experience at some point!
