Crumbl Cookies Review – The Ultimate Marketing!

What’s Crumbl Cookies

There’s a good chance that you’ve heard of Crumbl Cookies before I did. I’ve passed by several locations, but didn’t check it out until a friend asked about them. Crumbl cookies is a shop that is closed on Sundays, and they mostly sell cookies (and other stuff). Their flavors are unique and they rotate flavors on a weekly basis. Some people would get FOMO for not having their weekly Crumbl because it’s unknown if and when any of the flavors will come back. I tried one week and here are my thoughts/my Crumbl Cookies review!

I got in fairly early on a Thursday or Friday and they were out of the singles. 4-Pack box it is!

Ordering Process

Touch-screen ordering. Great, if it works. It wasn’t really working that day so I had to talk to the cashier there to order my cookies.

Pink box. They want others to know that you got Crumbl Cookies!

Weekly Flavors

The week I went had their default chocolate chip and 5 unique flavors. Those were –

  • Chocolate Potato Chip
  • Pecan Pie
  • Pina Colada
  • Salted Caramel Cheesecake
  • Chocolate Peanut Butter
A display of what they have that week

First Impressions

There are some cookies that are meant to be enjoyed warm and others chilled. I got my box of cookies and went through the Super Duper Burger drive through and tried some of the chocolate chip cookie while waiting in the drive through line. On a first impression, the cookies were a good size. It had that thickness and color so that the edges were crunchy-ish and the center was really soft.

The "toppings" or frostings can migrate within the box. Ahh, don't let that caramel near me!

Texture/Taste

The main portion of my crumbl cookies review? Texture is pretty good. I like the texture. Chocolate chip cookie was good, but my husband said it wasn’t $5 good. I had the chocolate potato chip one and there was so much more than that. There were pretzel pieces and coconut flakes. Didn’t know that at first, but it wasn’t bad. There were some bits where I tasted mostly flour, so that was a huge set back unfortunately.

The pina colada one reminded me of those Asian pineapple cake desserts in both taste and partially in the texture. Frosting was too sweet for me, but the cookie portion was alright. Salted caramel cheesecake… well, the husband really liked that one. I don’t like caramel in most situations and I wasn’t really fond of this one

I think they always have their chocolate chip one by default

Would I Go Back?

Though I wasn’t too impressed with the cookies, I think I would go back if I really wanted to try one of their weekly flavors. Look at that… they got me there! There has been some great sounding flavors (passionfruit boba, pink sprinkles donut, and more), but it hasn’t gotten me out of the house to try more just yet. Will they have something such as a matcha hot cheeto flavor? That sounds odd and intriguing that I would go back to try that!
