Fitness Journal – Day 15 of 90 (Mochi Donuts!)

Day 15 of of 90 of my 90 day fitness journey! I had the day off from work today and was able to get my workout in earlier today, and treated myself to yummy desserts, notably mochi donuts. 

Morning

This morning was a bit tough to wake up because Snowy’s tummy wasn’t feeling so well so she was throwing up in random areas of our place. I made my coffee first thing in the morning and enjoyed a couple cups of that, along with some cheese wedges and crackers. 

Workouts Today

The Blogilates 2/15/2021 workout consisted of a few total body workouts – 

  • 12 Minutes to Burn Fat – not a bad video! Did this one alright. Quick a bit of squatting and lunges, similar to her other videos. 
  • Total Body Pilates Workout – I liked this one the best out of the 3 today. It works a mixed cardio/upper body and then focuses on the abs at the end. The video wasn’t long either.
  • Butt Lifting & Thigh Sculpting Workout – eh, my least favorite one of the day. It wasn’t a long video, but it dragged a bit for me. There were quite a bit of big leg circles, which I didn’t have room without kicking something.

Lunch – Thank you, Yelp Elite!

I was invited to a Yelp Elite event this week to redeem $25 at Starbird from Jingletown Eats in Oakland. We tried a couple chicken sandwiches, and one of them was pretty good and the other was… well, let’s just say we might have gotten a defect or something. The chicken to that one was very rubbery, but we ate it anyways. We also got some chicken tenders with fries. The Jingletown Eats Cloud Kitchen also has a Mochill mochi donuts, so I ordered some, scheduled for the same pick-up time as the chicken.

Hot Cheetos Mochi Donut – My Fave!

Wow, I can’t get over how much I liked the hot cheetos mochi donut. It was so amazing. The takoyaki one was also good, but was rather sticky, making it harder to eat by the individual mochi donut balls. 

Afternoon

We went for a short walk sometime after lunch. I would have preferred a longer walk to get more steps, but oh well, relaxing is good too. The husband and I went to Target in hopes to score some good, on-sale Valentines candy. The section was already filled with Easter items, and none of the Valentine’s sale candy were good. What a disappointment. Good news is I was able to find some 3D Doritos, but they just aren’t as good as I remembered them to be. I still like them more than regular Doritos because regular Doritos flavors isn’t that strong compared to the overall corn chip. 

Late-Afternoon and Dinner

I sat on the floor and played a bunch of Homescapes and have been stuck on a level. Later on I stopped playing to take a shower and then thought about how busy it will be at work tomorrow. Ahhh, so hard to relax! Dinner consisted of various leftovers from yesterday and the night before. Good stuff. I treated myself to a pudding boba popsicle afterwards. 

Today’s Overview

My sweet tooth has reemerged today. I had sweets during every meal and in between. Somehow I thought I would be baking something today, but was feeling extra lazy. The fact that I got in all 3 workout videos by 11AM is just amazing though!
