Fitness Journal – Day 27 of 90 (More Boba!!)
Day 27 of 90 of this 90 day journey, and we’re super close the the end of this month! My friend and I originally said we’ll get boba once week this month, but guess what? We broke that during this last week!! I received text ShareTea re their anniversary, and I had free drinks on my account, so I got boba again this week.
Morning
My coffee beans arrived last night so I had some good coffee this morning. The husband picked up some Fruity Pebbles flavored creamer, and it made the coffee taste so interesting. Not bad though. I made myself an omelette with spinach and goat cheese. It felt rather healthy and it was pretty good.
Today’s Workouts
I did the workouts schedule for today yesterday, so today’s workouts are technically yesterday’s workouts –
- 10 Perfect Morning Stretches to Increase Energy – pretty good video re stretches. Pretty doable and it stretches out most of the body.
- Relaxing Stretches for Better Sleep & Increased Flexibility – this one one that Cassey did in her bed. I wasn’t feeling it because I wasn’t in bed and did not have as much soon as she did. I skipped most of this video and incorporated my own stretches.
In addition to the stretching videos, I went for a walk with the fam. That was rather nice.
2nd Boba of the Week
My friend and I almost went a full month with just getting boba once a week, but we both caved today, which is our 2nd one for the week. It was my fault though because I caused the temptation and went through with it. It started with a text from ShareTea saying 10% off and anniversary raffle, and my account had some free drinks to redeem, so it was losing money not to get boba today. SO GOOD!!!
Lunch
The kids had a lot of the maki rolls my mom made, and I had some of the avocado egg ones. We also had some porridge with meat chunks inside, not pictured here. They like making porridge, and we (my brother, husband, and me) don’t like it as much, but eat it anyways. We also had some chow mein, veggies, and wontons.
Fruits and Fitness Talks
We had some fruits between after lunch and before dinner, so we definitely got our vitamin C in today. I was telling my brother about these various workout videos and what I’d eventually like to achieve, and he mentioned that weight training or workouts involving weights may be better for that. I’ll continue to build my endurance with these Blogilates videos with my bestie and see what else I’d like to do. It’s obvious that everyone will look differently even if they consume the same foods each day. Each person’s body types are different too, such that someone that is rectangle shaped may never achieve an hourglass or pear shaped body naturally. Muscle gives such a nicely toned look, and there are petite people same height as me out there that weigh 20 pounds more than me, but actually look thinner because of their muscle distribution and body shape. Such interesting stuff! Goals to be extra heavy, but not look like it!
Family Dinner Saturdays
We had a variety of stuff for dinner tonight, including some red wine. One of my parents’ friends gave them a goose, so my dad prepared it the same way as peking duck. He made the buns for it too, and it was pretty good with some plum sauce. They made the usual chicken string beans since the kids really like that, and it added some veggies to our dinner.
After Dinner
The kids played some Minecraft after dinner with some family members around their age, and we had some chocolate as our dessert. Such a good food day today without completely overdoing it.
Today’s Overview
Just looking at the above, I know I forgot to record some stuff on there, but close enough! It was a very chill day, and I didn’t do much work on this Saturday. The weather was nice, though a bit windy. I got to eat good food and spend time with family, and took walks with the kids and the pups. Simple, great, stress-free stuff right there. Well, tomorrow is the last day of February, and I have my March Blogilates calendar printed out and ready to go when Monday comes around!
