Fitness Journal 90 Day Journey – Day 2 of 90
Day 2 of this 90 day fitness journey! It’s been an alright day for the most part despite the lack of sleep last night. Mochi decided to eat all of Snowy’s food and more for the past couple nights, so she was barking to be let out at various times to do a lot of business. Sigh.
Morning
I started the morning with the usual – coffee with some creamer. There is a slight chance I had more coffee today than yesterday, but the creamer amount remained the same. I heated up a couple Trader Joe’s philly cheesesteak baos for breakfast. 2 of these buns contains less sodium than a pack of the Trader Joe’s soup dumplings I had yesterday.
Mid Morning/Before Lunch
I caught up on work, and started today’s Blogilates workouts. Wow, my legs felt so heavy and I modified quite a bit during today’s workout videos.
- Quick Cardio Booty Blast – how cruel to end in plank yesterday and start in plank today. Wow. Luckily the video was super short, but my legs felt heavy.
- Quick Booty Burn – this one was quick too. My legs felt heavy again.
- The Ultimate Butt, Back & Arms Challenge – this was quick too, similar to the others… just a few minutes, but this one was doing the same move for those 3 minutes! My back was pinching uncomfortably, so I only did this one for over a minute and did floor zinger (since we’re working out the booty today, I went in tabletop position and lifted each leg for a minute) for the remaining other couple minutes to substitute.
- Hips Butt ‘n Thighs – OMG, are my hips worse than I thought? It was difficult circling my legs. They felt way too heavy. Something isn’t right with me.
- 20 Minute Booty Lift Cardio – this was the long workout! Most of the exercises were very doable, and I got tired quickly! It felt great afterwards though.
I rehydrated and had some Lady Gaga oreos (colored golden oreos that are pink and green) and a taro boba popsicle.
Lunch Time!
The hot dogs and hot dog buns we bought contained 8, each. We had 4 yesterday, and the remaining 4 today. The sodium probably contributed to my low-ish energy, but hot dogs with chili do taste good. I also had some left over pasta with meat sauce and parmesan cheese. There are a lot of leftovers from days ago that we’re getting through today. I had a dark chocolate square after lunch. So satisfying!
Early Evening and Dinner
Work, work, work. I took a shower after work and before dinner. Sometimes showering just feel like a chore, but once you’re in there, it’s not too bad. Then the drying off part kind of sucks. Ugh, we do so much for good hygiene!
Dinner consisted of a lot of leftovers from the weekend – honey garlic pork chops, chow mein, sautéed broccoli, and more.
Day 2/90 Overall
I’m blogging my day 2/90 earlier in the evening than usual because I have a lot more to do tonight, and tomorrow will be an extremely busy day at work. The day overall was alright. It was hard for me to wake up, but it wasn’t too bad. The exercise helped me feel more awake, which was awesome. There were some nutrition stuff I did not record because I didn’t want to scour around looking for it, but today seemed to be a carb-heavy day for me. Sweets are a weakness!
Day 3, I don’t feel ready for you now, but I will be ready!
