Fitness Journal – Day 25 of 90

Day 25 of 90 of this 90 day fitness (more of a self-awareness) journey! If this was 100 days, we’d be 25% of the way there, which is better news because this is 90 days and we’re over 25% of the way there!

Morning and Before Lunch

I opened Netflix and it recommended that I watch Ginny and Georgia (or is it Georgia and Ginny?). I’ve heard about this show in the past and people were saying it was the next Gilmore Girls. I watched the first episode before starting work, and I would not quite compare it to Gilmore Girls other than a teenage kid and young mom and some pretty good dialogue. Anyways, I had my coffees and breakfast and did my zooms for the day. How busy!

Lunch Time!

I had a zoom right before lunch and toward the end, those on the zoom could totally see Aaron putting food on the table. They could also see the kids in the background making odd gestures. “Your kid is ditching class again” was a PM I received, LOL. Today’s lunch consisted of the remaining sausage and peppers in tomato sauce along with noodles and cheese. I think tomorrow’s lunch will be McDonald’s so I’ll try and be content with just chicken nuggets and sauce instead of inducing more salt with a burger and nuggets or something. My lip isn’t fully healed yet and I wouldn’t want to it to be cracked more.

Today’s Workouts

Today’s focus was on the upper body. The videos consisted of the following – 

  • Fat Burn Total Body Focus – a short low impact cardio workout. I liked this one!  Spoiler alert: out of the 4 videos today, this one the only one without prayer pulses.
  • 5 Chest Isolation Exercises – another short video
  • INSANE Weightless Arms Workout – one of those arm movement workouts while listening to a couple/few songs. Didn’t quite enjoy this one.
  • Toned Arms + Flat Abs – mostly focusing on the arms, but somehow this short video dragged for me.
  • Quick Burn Arms – quick and it burns, especially with those prayer pulses at the end!

Another step to getting stronger and to have some bigger looking arms??

 

Dinner!

Afternoon was a bit rough, so I had a glass of wine. I guess it helped since I’m not going crazy right now. Dinner consisted of tuna-casserole-like stuff with zucchini and cheese. The daughter calls this “tuna surprise” and absolutely hates how it smells. My parents somehow received a bunch of cans of tuna and refuses to use any of them, but didn’t want them to go to waste, so guess who’s using a bunch of tuna cans?

Guac and Chips + Dessert

We also had some guacamole and chips to go along with our tuna dinner. The crispiness of the chips was extremely satisfying tonight since everything else for dinner did not have a crispiness texture. It seemed to be a good evening for some ice cream, so we all finished the Heath & Waffle Cone carton of ice cream. 

Today’s Overview

I ate more than I thought I did today. It was overall stressful, so I had more snacks and sweets, such as ice cream and chocolates. My lips do feel better today and my mouth doesn’t feel as dry as it did yesterday. Hopefully the dryness will go away tomorrow or something!
