It’s day 41 of 90 of this 90 day fitness and/or nutrition journey! It’s been a very chill day today – no work, just laziness mostly at the parents’ place.
Morning
I got all my workouts done this morning! The morning started out with some coffee, and I went on a walk listening to part of an episode of The Office Podcast on Spotify. Interesting stuff right there.
Breakfast
I tried some of Trader Joe’s chicken and mushroom pelmeni. They took a while to make because it took it while to boil the water. These definitely need some kind of sauce, but I was lazy and just ate them plain. They were alright. I snacked on some string cheese immediately afterwards.
Today’s Workouts
Today’s workouts consisted of stretching and relaxing. I took a decent walk as my workout of the day to get some steps in, but below were the stretch videos –
21 Minute Flexibility Fix – this was the one that uses a massage ball and a strap. I skipped most of it because I don’t have one of those massage balls and did my own stretches instead.
Total Body Stretch – around a 10 minute video. It was pretty a pretty good stretch video. I really needed to stretch the hips!
Lunch at Parents’ Place
We headed to my parents’ place, but before we got there, we stopped by a ShareTea to get some boba! I got their QQ Happy Family Milk Tea and it’s just sooo good with awesome chewiness from the toppings. Lunch consisted of random things my parents made – some meatballs, chow mein, wontons, turnip cakes, and buns. Yummy!
Afternoon
Oh shoot, I just realized I did not write down the fruits I had and the chocolate I had. Add on another couple hundred Calories today, and I’m at 2,000 for the day. It was a very chill afternoon – we took the dogs to the dog park and watched a lot of TV.
Dinner
My dad made peking duck again so we had some of that along with some veggies and other stuff. So good!! We also had some red wine, and I drank such a good amount that it prompted some online shopping. Whoops! Instead of a fitness journey that I’m not doing so well on, maybe I should try for a 90 day no-online shopping journey… I’d probably fail within the first week.
Today’s Overview
It’s hard for me to remember what I’ve consumed at my parents’ place, and I end up remembering after I took the photo for the day. What is missing from the above are chocolates and fruits, which increases carbs significantly and total Calorie count. Ah well… It’s been a complete chill day today, but somehow I feel kind of bad about it for some reason.. Weird.
