Fitness Journal – Day 67 of 90 (Need to Downsize!)

It’s day 67 of 90 of this 90 day journal journey! What a busy week this week has been… today wasn’t too bad as I didn’t feel as rushed with work stuff today. 

Morning

I had some brewed coffee and various TJ’s stuff for breakfast, as well as the other half of my Starbucks from yesterday. Leftover almond milk is just not the same as leftover oat milk… ugh, oh well. 

Materialistic

The urge to online shop has been so big this week. I feel that I need to justify everything I do with buying something. For example, getting a vaccine = must get a cake. You bet I’m going to get a cake for my second dose of the vaccine! Stressful week = more shopping? Is that why I keep looking at clothing and handbags? I’ve gotten rid of so many clothes, and I definitely do not need more. 

Work / Lunch

Busy morning and afternoon with work today. Lunch consisted of various frozen foods, such as tater tots, bagel bites, TJ’s teriyaki chicken, and TJ’s dumplings. Not bad. 

Fewer Kitkats Today!

I’m so proud of myself, sort of… I only had 2 kitkats today compared to 8 of them the other days. Sugar was mostly in the dried mangos I snacked on today, but I’m glad I didn’t have as much actual candy today. My symptoms weren’t as bad today, so maybe the candies/simple sugars was giving me those pre-diabetic/diabetic symptoms? Oh man… not good.

Today’s Workouts

3 workout videos today – 

  • 10 Minute Cardio Pilates Workout – I did this one before lunch today. It was a pretty good one, low impact for the most part. 
  • Extreme Weightless Arm Toner – 30 minute workout with 20 moves, 1.5 mins each move. Work was rather busy so I was doing one to two moves, stopped to work, and then repeat. It took a while to complete it, but it was a pretty good video. The weightless arm workouts get me every single time!
  • 3 Minute Killer Back Toning Workout – I don’t remember doing this one in the past couple months so it was nice seeing something new, though this is one of Cassey’s older videos.

Dinner/Evening

Dinner was practically the same thing as last night – meatballs, pasta, sauce, and a veggie. Some wine would have made it better, but I didn’t feel like opening a bottle of wine. I’m so bad at opening wine. I didn’t drink this past Saturday because I got the vaccine that day, so this is the longest I’ve been sober for the past couple years. The evening so far was spent watching various Discovery Plus shows, such as more Tournament of Champions and some Flip or Flop. Discovery Plus is pretty neat, but it’s so damn annoying I cannot remove shows from “continue watching,” especially those shows that automatically start after finishing an episode of a different show… like if I didn’t select that show, I do not want that on my list (especially if it isn’t a food show that’s interesting to me).

Today’s Overview

I’ll definitely drink some more water tonight. It wasn’t a terrible day, but it was another day I did not step outside… what is it.. Yup, I have not stepped outside since Sunday.
