La Maison Du Chocolate Review – Perfectly Fits and Amazing Box Quality!
I haven’t had the opportunity to travel to Europe yet, but my brother went to Paris around the holidays and brought back some chocolates from La Maison Du Chocolate. There are lots of great chocolate places in France, and his favorite wasLa Maison Du Chocolate, so here’s my La Maison Du Chocolate review!
Box Quality
OMG, such a nice quality box. Please excuse the scratch above. The box is sturdy, definitely one of those keep-able boxes. The color reminds me of a darker tint Hermes box, sort of a mix between the orange Hermes and the Louis Vuitton brown.
Why La Maison Du Chocolate
My brother did some research of various chocolate spots in Paris, and saw that La Maison Du Chocolate had the best looking packaging and chocolates fitting. It’s really cool! Each piece stacks into the box, filling up the whole box. He has slight OCD, and the layout of the chocolates here was very favorable for him. The location he went to gave some samples and he was impressed with the chocolates he tried, so he bought several 24-piece boxes and gave some as gifts to his friends and relatives in the US.
Easy Tetris Chocolate
It just stacks so nicely! The looks of the chocolates is really impressive. Does the taste match as well?
Chocolate Quality
Each piece has a nice bite to it, separating-ish the shell from the filling. So good. The chocolates tasted more fresh than not, despite weeks after purchase.
Variations
All the chocolates in this milk and dark chocolate variety box contains some kind of filling. There are ganaches, caramels, fruity flavors, nuts, etc. There wasn’t a piece that any of us completely disliked.
Worth It?
I honestly forgot how much my brother paid for these, but they were cheaper than what they are sold for online… significantly cheaper. Based on that, I think a box of these makes a really nice gift to those that enjoys chocolates. I enjoyed the hazelnut and rocher varieties of these, and the pistachio one was pretty good too. The chocolates aren’t too sweet, which is perfect. I’d be really happy if someone gifted me a box of La Maison Du Chocolate!
