Lululemon Wunder Puff Jacket and Another Mile Jacket Reviews

Why Lululemon?

I loved my gray Scuba zip up hoodie from years ago, so I thought of Lululemon when I needed a new jacket for my Chicago work trip. The only super warm jacket I had was a North Face one that I wore in sub-freezing temperatures back when I lived in Maryland, and since I get warm super easily, that jacket would be too warm for me in Chicago/in 30-40 degree weather.

Just ONE Jacket

Lululemon’s green Wunder Puff jacket caught my eye in terms of the warmer jackets I looked at, but it was around $300, and adding tax would be more than $300! AHhhh!! The jacket felt really comfortable and it looked stylish as well. Since it was so expensive, I decided to look around some more to see if a cheaper option caught my eye. One jacket with 2 front zippers that makes it look like wearing 2 thin jackets caught my eye – the Another Mile jacket. The arms portion was rather thin, so it’d serve no purpose standing in 30 degree weather, but it looked so flattering. The husband reminded me that we were there to buy a jacket suitable for Chicago weather, so I spent $300+ on my first green jacket… and then another $200+ a couple weeks later online since I had no self control.

Green Lululemon Wunder Puff Jacket! The photos online weren’t really appealing to me, but the jacket looked so much better in person.
Another Mile Jacket. OMG, photos online does this jacket no justice. It looked way better in person. I absolutely love the double zipper aspect and it’s so stylish! The arms fabric portion is thin though in comparison to the rest of the jacket.
The tags from both jackets.
The warmth factors. Pretty accurate too. No wonder the husband is so practical by telling me the Another Mile wouldn’t work since it’s base for warmth. I ended up ordering it online a couple weeks after and it’s been great for outdoor dinners in CA as well as leaving for work early in the morning.
Their Why We Made This part of the tag. Honestly, I think this is a super neat concept, but I haven’t been reading these.
Ouch… Lululemon is not cheap!

Lululemon Wunder Puff Jacket Review

Other than the price, it’s a pretty good jacket! I’ve had it for a bit over a month, and it’s in great condition for the most part except for one loose thread. The color is steady, and most importantly, it kept me warm in Chicago! It really served its purpose there, and I still wear it here in California. It’s been 30s in the morning here, so when it’s extra cold, I’d wear this jacket while commuting to the office. It’s also really helpful for all those family dinners outdoors as well. I love green and think the green suits me. My family mentioned it looks good on me, but they cannot pull off the green. I wonder if it’s because they don’t really wear green to begin with or if they’re just too used to wearing red.

Wunder Puff Jacket – Worth It?

Surprisingly, yeah! For now that is… if it lasts for 2+ years with continuous use and such, then definitely yes. If it rips within a year, then hell no. It is really comfy, but also a bit bulky, but yet again, that’s where all the warmth comes from, huh?

Another Mile Jacket Review

Lululemon’s Another Mile Jacket’s purpose is that it’s a running jacket. I don’t run (I’d love to, but I hate it), and how does someone not overheat while wearing a jacket while running? Are they running in super cold temperatures? Below freezing? Sometimes I have to run for a few mins to catch the train and I find myself taking off my jacket within a couple blocks. Perhaps runners are much better at maintaining their body temperatures that they can go steady with whatever they have on… ah, adding another goal in life. Anyways, I love this jacket. I’ve been wearing it so often, both indoors and out. Zipped, unzipped, etc. So nice. The online photos doesn’t really show the double front zipper portion – not that it has 2 zipper thingys to zip, but 2 separate zippers. So stylish IMO.

Another Mile Jacket – Worth It?

Yes! It’s really flattering and comfy as well. The only downside are the side zippers since they don’t zip up smoothly 100% of the time. I suppose this is also true with the Wunder Puff jacket… those essential side zippers.
