Louis Vuitton – Zippy and Clemence Wallets Compared
Well, well… I didn’t think I was going to write another LV wallet post (Sarah Wallet was my prior one last year) so soon, but an amazing friend gifted me a rose ballerine Clemence wallet for my birthday! Eeeee!!!!! It’s the perfect opportunity to compare it to the zippy wallet at my mom’s! Please enjoy my zippy and clemence wallet comparison photos!
What Are The Zippy and Clemence Wallets?
The zippy and clemence wallets are some of Louis Vuitton’s zip-up wallets. Both look rather similar in photos, but the price point is rather significant. The zippy is currently $850 and the clemence is currently $570. Here goes some photos comparing the 2 with descriptions in the captions.
Which One’s Right for Me?
- The zippy is heavier and noticeably so. It also has more storage space inside, so if you want to store more which leads to a heavier wallet, the zippy may be for you!
- The clemence is more compact and seems a bit more casual. The outer part of the wallet seems a bit more well made than the zippy (the canvas seems to be pressing on the zippy a bit so that there’s dents in the right lighting). Also it’s cheaper! If you don’t need to store a bunch of stuff in a zip up wallet, then the clemence may be for you!
- Both wallets are good for carrying around by itself, with or without a purse. It really comes down to how much you need to store in there for functionality-wise.
- The clemence is a tiny bit longer and noticeably shorter, so if that proportion bothers you, then the zippy may be better.
