Petaleon Review – DIY Floral Arrangement That’ll Last 2 Years
I had such a great time (via work) learning about floral arrangements and creating my own floral arrangement that’ll last a couple years! Here’s my Petaleon review / experience. 🙂
What is Petaleon (or Petal+Eon)?
Visit them here. Petaleon = Petal + Eon. Flowers that last an Eon. Pretty cool, huh? Petaleon hosts workshops and events that allow you to create your own floral arrangement that lasts much longer than a typical fresh bouquet. They do several virtual workshops that can be found on their website (linked above and also here) and also various private events. Group bonding and team events are rather common, and this was one that I tried with 8 other coworkers.
What to Expect / My Process
We had an organizer register our group for a floral arranging event, but the instructions on Petaleon’s website seem rather straight forward. Each participant got to select their flower color scheme. Options may vary, but our options were –
- Blush Pink
- Champagne/Off-White
- Red
- Blush Pink & Violet
They mentioned champagne was one of their most popular, along with pink. I liked both and couldn’t choose so I had the husband choose for me. He chose pink violet!
The flowers are shipped and there’s no need to open or prep anything before the event.
Packaging
My floral kit arrived via FedEx. The kit came with the following –
- 3 Roses (sizes may vary depending on which floral arrangement you choose to create).
- Filler Flowers – a bundle of colorful and super adorable flowers.
- Hydrangeas – pink ones and some green ones.
- Vase (mine was a plain white ceramic vase)
- Small extra foam (they provide extra flowers you can stick to this small batch of extra foam if your main arrangement is full)

Unboxing / Space
Everything was packaged rather well. Each item was separate and easy to open.
The Event
Our event was via Zoom and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The host was AMAZING. Such great personality and very knowledgeable. I learned so much about flowers, from where certain flowers were sourced from and general flower placement. The host acknowledged everyone’s floral arrangements and answered our questions. Jokes were present during the event too.
My Arrangement
Above is my main floral arrangement. The pink violet kit came with 2 violet roses and a pink rose. Filler flowers go all around to cover any space and the hydrangeas went around the outside. So beautiful! Seeing the flowers in the package was a bit overwhelming because I lack artistic talent and would have had no idea where to start if it wasn’t for the host explaining where the various flowers should go. It really did come together really nicely. All our arrangements were so beautiful!
No Bald Spots
I absolutely love how Petaleon provides more than enough filler flowers to ensure there are no bald spots in your arrangement. My “extra” flowers went into an old creamer that was sitting around. It worked quite well, didn’t it?
FAQs? Allergic to Pollen?
There is so much more I can say about the event in my Petaleon review, but their FAQ section contains better information. The husband, the daughter, and I are allergic to pollen and get rather bad seasonal allergies, so we never have flowers in our place. Petaleon’s flowers are real flowers organically treated in a glycerin and silica solution where most pollen is removed from the preserving process. I haven’t sneezed yet! My eyes feel a bit uncomfortable, but that’s most likely from my eye appointment the day before this event. Ugh, dilation fluids.
Final Comments
I want to do this again! They have a variety of options such as floral colors and vases, including cool containers. There is a workshop where you can place the flowers in a window-like wallhanging thing (not sure what it’s called, but I saw it on their Instagram PetaleonFloral), and it looked so cool! Flowers that lasts at year a year usually cost so much and there isn’t much variety to those, and for amazing containers, that’s an additional huge cost. Petaleon may look pricey upfront, but you’re creating something so beautiful and long lasting. The cost along with the experience is less than most flowers that last a year specialties that I’ve seen. This was a great experience and I hope to do this again soon.
