My First Roller Rabbit Dress

I have a bad habit of finding dresses on sale from my fave clothing store, Anthropologie, and never really wearing them because there aren’t a lot of opportunity to wear dresses. Also, I feel so comfy in sweat pants and tshirt at time, or just a simple tank top and jeans when out. Anyways, I was looking at Anthropologie’s site when they were having another 40% on top of sale prices, and saw that a purple Roller Rabbit dress had horrible reviews.

The reviews on the Roller Rabbit Augusta dress

Just Had to Buy the Poorly Rated Roller Rabbit Dress!

The Roller Rabbit dress was on super sale and there was another sale on top of that, so I decided to buy it! I’m a short person so a short dress would benefit me, but was curious of what people were talking about when they mentioned that the dress they received was the same print, but was a different dress. No photos of what they received was posted that I can see, so I’ll find out.

The dress I received - more or less matches what was advertised!

I Received the As-Advertised Roller Rabbit Dress!

See above. That matches with what was advertised for the most part. Either people did receive a different dress or the photos posted on Anthropologie’s website showed a different dress in the same pattern, but the people that ordered received this dress as this one isn’t a long dress.

Must Research Out of Curiosity

I found some stuff from Google search! See below.

Different country Anthropologie. It’s a longer dress with same “Augusta” name and pattern. There is the one I got as a photo in this thumbnail as well. So crazy!
There is a more tunic style dress in the same print. Different country Anthropologie website too.

I Digress yet again… First Roller Rabbit Dress review!

My package from Anthropologie arrived fairly quickly, and the dress is super light. Thankfully it was layered because otherwise, it would be quite see-through. The print is fun, and I see on Roller Rabbit’s website that they do quite a few fun prints. It reminds me of when I went to the Lilly Pulitzer store at the Montgomery Mall or Tyson’s Corner/Tyson’s II when I was living on the East Coast. Similar to LP, there are no RR stores (as of June 2023) in the Bay Area. There are some locations in SoCal, Austin, NY, SC, etc.

Thin Material

It’s a cotton dress so that’ll work well with my skin. The material is really thin though and I hope it won’t rip easily. Since it’s cotton, it should last longer, but we shall see. Lightweight, but really cute, especially the top/shoulders area.

Cute shoulders / top part of this Roller Rabbit dress. I’m not returning it! It is just a bit tight in certain areas, but it works.
The mid-ish portion.

More Roller Rabbit Dresses for Me?

I wish! It’s a bit pricey to buy often, but when I see a sale piece I absolutely adore, I’ll consider it. The prints are really cute. Though I might not wear them as much as I’d like, I can pass clothing like this to my daughter and she can put better use to these. She already took my good Lululemon scuba zip hoodie and one of my Spiritual Gangster zip hoodies as well.

Another dress in my closet 🙂

Pockets!!!

I told myself I wouldn’t buy another dress (unless it’s for something super special) if it doesn’t have pockets. This dress has pockets!! Thank you Roller Rabbit! Though it’s super thin and cannot hold much, I love how there are pockets. Dresses with pockets = amazing.
