Trader Joe’s Mango Cream Bars – Delicious Treat During this Heatwave!

Trader Joe’s mango cream bars reminds me of creamsicles – frozen fruit flavored ice on the outside and a nice cream on the inside. This time it’s mango flavored, so I’m super excited for this!

Late to the Game

Similar to other TJ’s items, I’m a bit late to the game. My friend told me about these weeks ago, and I couldn’t find them at my local TJ’s until fairly recently. So happy I got them!

The nutritional facts and one of the mango cream bars

Looks and Nutrition

Definitely a mango bar with cream center. Ah, can’t wait to dive in! 220 Calories for one of these things, and according to the ingredients, it’s mostly vanilla ice cream. I’m expecting a lot of cream inside then. Plenty of added sugars and saturated fat, so I won’t be consuming the whole container of these bars anytime soon.

First bite - where’s the cream!!!?

Taste and Texture

The Trader Joe’s mango cream bar or mango creamsicle (way better than orange!) is pretty good! I didn’t get any cream on my first bite, and my daughter did say she liked the mango parts a lot more than the vanilla ice cream portion. I heard that some contain mostly the cream and there wasn’t much mango flavor, but this one seemed to have the opposite issue. It’s good throughout, nice mix in my opinion. As with most other popsicles or desserts on a wooden stick, I can’t stand that stick flavor!

The cream!

Worth It?

Yeah! Though not all are consistent, I enjoy the flavors enough to buy these mango cream bars again. The kids enjoy these as well, so that’s a really good sign and speaks a lot about this product.
