Adagio Teas Advent Calendar – Festive Tea Flavors for December to Countdown To Christmas!

Continuing my tea advent calendar trends, I’m starting this year early with Adagio Teas Advent Calendar! Adagio reached out to me to try their tea advent calendar this year, and I couldn’t resist! Their website lists all these fun and seasonal flavors, and I love tea and advent calendars, so yes please.

Where to find the calendar on Adagio Tea's website - it's under GIfts!

The Calendar

Nice and green. Below are some photos with captions of the cheerful calendar.

This is the Adagio Teas advent calendar for 2022. Ahhh, can't wait to dive right in (when it's time)!!

Nicely marked packaging box

Packaging and Shipping

Shipping took just under a week for the calendar to get to me! Very nice. The box was labeled in a clean way and I’m a fan of the packaging box. The calendar itself feels very smooth, nice to touch. The inside is rather standard advent calendar with its flaps for December 1 – 24.

Opened the calendar! 24 flaps for 24 days - December 1 - 24
Opened one of the flaps - OMG such fun flavor!!

Tea Format

OK, I am extremely excited and am having so much self control right now not to try multiple teas before December hits. The Adagio Tea advent calendar comes in either loose tea or tea bags. Mine is the loose tea version since I have a teapot to brew the tea. I love how you can decide between loose tea and teabag. Their website states, “contain no added sugar, be gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, ‘n vegan-friendly fer both loose ‘n teabag versions.” Pretty cool! The teas I’ve had previously that contains some sugar and dairy were my least favorite ones, so this advent calendar is very promising.

Straight Forward

I love the calendar as it’s fun and displayable and it keeps all the teas in one place until use. It’s super straight forward, right to the point. It doesn’t have unnecessary packaging to the teas, but it also doesn’t contain that special something outside the tea itself. Perfect for tea lovers and those that love to try different tea flavors!

Here are some of their seasonal fall flavors. How fun!!

Let’s Break Some Rules and Try Some Tea!

It’s not December yet, but I can’t help it. I’ll go into which flavors I’m most excited for later, but I’ll try one tea within the calendar to get a gage on how Adagio teas are since it’s my first time trying this tea brand.

White pear! Yum, sounds refreshing. These are how the teabags look behind each number,
The back contains brewing instructions and ingredients, etc.

Easy to Read Labels

Each tea packet contains more info on the backs of the tea packets and not on the back of the actual calendar packaging. The brew time and temperature (recommended) are on the back of the tea bags, as well as the ingredients. Super helpful there.

Taste of Tea?

I liked it! The one I grabbed to try was the white pear (day 10). It didn’t smell as pear-y as I thought it would, and it tasted quite nice. It’d be good as a hot or iced. I had mine hot and I wished I heated more water to do another brew. It doesn’t taste like the traditional green or white teas that I have with my family, but there is the flavor in there that makes this one different in a good way.

Advent Tea Calendar Spoilers – Look/Read if You Want to Know What ALL the Teas Are

It doesn’t say on the box directly, but their website lists them all.

What I’m Looking Forward To Trying

It’s so pretty! The nuts flavors don’t appeal to me, but they don’t contain actual nut which is great. I’ve had some not so great experiences with mocha tea, so I’m a bit skeptical of these, but maybe I’ll like these more than the ones I’ve tried prior years. Black Forest Cake sounds super fun and unique as I haven’t had that in a tea before. I’m really looking forward (other than the white pear I had) to the black forest cake, blackberry sage oolong, cherry marzipan oolong, christmas, earl grey bella luna, passionfruit mango, pomegranate green, rooibos noel, and spiced green.
