Fitness Journal – Day 58 of 90 (Kids on Spring Break!)

It’s day 58 of 90 of this 90 day journal journey! It is so hard to believe that tomorrow is the last day of March. Time is flying by too fast for my liking.

Morning

This morning was similar to yesterday’s morning. The kids are on spring break this week so I took most of today off.

Today’s Workouts

I got the workouts done in the morning since I wasn’t working. Today’s workouts focused on the butt –

  • 8 min at Home Cardio Workout – a series of moves for 45 seconds on and 15 seconds off. Not bad.
  • 20 Minute Natural Glute Enchancing Isolate Workout – one side, the other side, and some bridging along with lying down on the tummy and moving the legs.
  • 5 Underbutt Isolation Workout Exercises – similar underbutt moves as the video above. Wasn’t much of a fan of the lying down on stomach ones.
  • Insane Butt Blaster – short video with some stretching at the end, but I was bad and did not do all the stretches at the end.

Lunch Time!

We were going to cook various things for lunch, but got lazy. There is a small Korean restaurant in Walnut Creek that the kids enjoy, so we ordered takeout from them for lunch. The husband and I split a large order spicy chicken, and it came with purple rice and veggies. So good!

Afternoon Adventures

It felt so nice to just step outside for over an hour without carrying my work laptop today. We took the kids to a park, and since it’s a weekday and mid-afternoon, there was nearly no one on the playgrounds. It’s been over a year since the kids got to play on play structures, and they finally got to play around today. So nice. I was pretty sure the daughter wanted to go to this park in particular because it was super close to her favorite boba shop, iTea. We had the kids share a drink today so they chose panda milk tea for themselves. I got the same drink for myself, and the husband got his usual oreo drink.

Late Afternoon and Dinner

I typed out a couple blog posts today about a couple more TJ’s items, scheduled to be posted early-ish April. The blog should have 1 or 2 entries a week, with exception of these 90 day journal journey posts. Dinner tonight is our second to last Hello Fresh meal – a cheeseburger with old bay fries. We were watching the new Nailed It during our meals today. The kids just love seeing funny looking foods / desserts.

Today’s Overview

My boba drink today probably exceeded the “allowable” sugar limit for this week, but it was so good! The temperature ranged from 40s to low 70s today, and the iced drink helped with the heat. Yeah, it wasn’t that warm, but anything over 70 is considered warm to me.
