Fitness Journal – Day 63 of 90 (Happy Easter!)

Happy Sunday, it’s day 63 of 90 of this 90 day journal journey! I have a busy week ahead of me, and I intended to do some work today, but that didn’t happen. SIGH. 

Morning

It was a bit difficult to sleep last night. I’m used to sleeping on my left side, but it hurt too much to do that. I had to get up in the middle of the night to pee, and pulling up my pants just took so much effort. Honestly, I don’t remember when I’ve had such a sore arm. Anyways, I had some coffee this morning and the remaining pack of TJ’s ahi tuna, along with some cinnamon toast crunch cereal for breakfast.

Lunch Pick-up and Milk Tea

The father-in-law and his significant other were joining us for lunch today, so the husband and I headed to Berkeley to pick up some Bonchon and some Asha. I usually get Asha’s iced matcha latte with strawberry or mango, but the flavors they had today were ginger, grape, and lavender. No thanks. I got a grass jelly milk tea instead. 

Lunch / Afternoon

Yummm, it’s been a while since we’ve had Bonchon! The portion sizes definitely decreased, so that’s a bummer. The spicy wings are still good. We were going to go to TJ’s after lunch, but the kids wanted to go to their favorite park around the area so we spent a while at the park. I ended up playing Homescapes a lot. Ugh, darn that game!! Got stuck on another level LOL. It’s such a waste not to get iTea after that park, so we got another boba drink. I decided to be good and put it in the fridge for tomorrow. The husband and I took a quick trip to TJ’s afterwards.

Today’s Workouts

Does showering count as a workout? It sure felt like it today. Today’s workouts were – 

  • 10 Minute Anti-bloating Cardio – yessss, I really like these lower impact workout videos. There were quite a few where the arms go up, so  I just modified. 
  • 10 Min Pilates Ab Workout – wow, more arms up motions in this one too. Again, I modified and worked at a slower pace.
  • Extreme Ab Flattener – wow, a 30 min video! It took me many parts to get through this one, and I modified nearly every single move. I feel I need to re-do this one next week or something when my arm feels better.

Snacks and Dinner + Today’s Overview

Sweets took over me today again, especially with all that Easter candy and leftover cake. Dinner consisted of leftovers from yesterday. I had an agenda in my head of what I wanted to do today (do some work so I don’t feel as stressed tomorrow), but that did not happen. Sigh… 

Weekly Recap

So much anxiety this week. I can’t believe how quickly the week has gone by and the most productive thing I did was getting the vaccine. A lot of TV was watched this week. Fun at the time, but just seeing the date and time right now just gives me more anxiety. Fingers crossed for not much of a stressful week this coming week. Work will be busy though since it’s early on in the month. I can’t believe we’re done with week 9 and going onto week 10 already.
